Racking relocation & Rack Inspection for Peterborough start up business.
We were asked to come and advise on a new business who had inhertited a small parcel of racking from a another business who were relcating. We atatended site within 2 days and provided a quottaion for a SEMA Approved inspector to inspect the rackigm prior to dismantling & re-insatlling.
The racking was in excellent condidtion, however the report picked up on some Amber risks that require action prior to re-installing. The report was presented back to the customer along with a quote for repairing.
Required:
- 16no Beam safety clips
- 3no diagonal bracing to suit 1100mm deep frame
- extra shims & new anchor bolts needed for re-install.
Design:
The customer stores UK chep pallets rated at 500kgs so the design of the racking was correct to SEMA guidelines and well within the loadings of the beams and frame bay load.
Completion.
The repairs were then carried out, transported across to the new warehouse, and re-installed. We provided a extra over for upright protection along with timber decking.
